More about TW Orthodontics
Many adults choose to get braces to correct orthodontic issues that were not addressed when they were younger, or that have relapsed over time. At TW Orthodontics we believe that it’s never too late to improve your smile.
When you or your child are getting started with orthodontic treatment, it can seem overwhelming at first. But we take the time to discuss any concerns and answer your questions thoroughly so that you understand the treatment process and why it is important.
TW Orthodontics uses state-of-the-art technology to evaluate our patients’ current needs and design a customized plan for treatment. We can even show you 3D images of the progression of treatment, how the teeth will move and change from start to finish.
● Two-Phase Treatment. Orthodontic treatment is often administered in two phases. The first phase is early intervention and monitoring, and the second phase is typically braces or another teeth alignment system.
● Metal braces. Still the most common type of orthodontic treatment, metal braces are effective and affordable. Advancements in technology have made metal braces smaller and more comfortable for patients.
● Clear braces. Clear ceramic braces provide the same teeth straightening capabilities of metal braces but are less noticeable.
● Invisalign. The truly clear alternative to braces, Invisalign is virtually invisible on your teeth. For many patients, Invisalign is as effective as braces.
● 3M Clarity Aligners. 3M™ Clarity Aligners provide mild to moderate tooth movement that helps achieve a beautiful smile!
● TMD treatment. Also known as TMJ Disorder, TMD is a condition affecting the temporomandibular joint, the place where your lower jaw connects to your skull. This joint can become inflamed, causing pain and a limited range of motion. We provide a variety of treatment options for TMD.
● Retainers. Following orthodontic treatment, retainers need to be worn to preserve the position of your teeth and prevent them from reverting to their previous positions. We provide retainers when needed after treatment.
Complete orthodontic care may include one or any combination of the above treatments. Every patient receives customized care based on their specific needs. The ultimate goal is to give you a healthy, beautiful smile that will last a lifetime.
Contact us at any of our 4 convenient locations to schedule a consultation. We look forward to helping you transform your smile.
